NFS payback has been in my steam library for a while, and I have a lot of cars and stuff on there and I completed the game. I uninstalled it, and a few days ago I decided to install it again. Whenever I try and play it, the steam “preparing to launch” icon comes up, and then goes back to the green play button. I played need for speed payback to the end however I wanted to play it again so I started the game up and deleted the save file and now I regret it, I really want a save file that doesn't tell me it's corrupted so I don't have to play through this awful story again I just wanna customize some cars Origin Games\Need for Speed Payback\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x64.exe Origin Games\Need for Speed Payback\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x86.exe Once all that is done, reboot and retry playing and let us know here how that goes, thanks.

Need for Speed Payback does not support DX12. If you have DX12 installed, your computer should run DX11 instead.
