The reminder has to be reset by accessing the bike's computer. Unlike most current cars that give you a way to do it yourself, the R12 needs to be reset either by the dealer or you have to use a GS-911. One frequent contributor to this forum calls it the "Dealer extortion light" because of this. If you do your own service you might find the GSIt should give you confirmation of it going into "diagnostic" mode. To reset the CBS, start the car into "diagnostic" mode (explained above) and then press and hold the odometer reset button (bottom left of the cluster).
